MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK
In 2015 we’ve been kept very busy by our clients. We like it that way. As you can imagine, we have a few extra ‘big thinkers’ on our team to help us deliver on this.
Now a recognised agency with the IPA (Independent Practitioners in Advertising) we’re already tapping in to the collective intelligence and training resource available to members. More ‘big ideas’ coming soon.
We’ve aired our first national TV campaign. Conceived in Guernsey and filmed in Kuala Lumpur, our Genting ‘The Player’ commercial has turned a top casino brand into an exciting online offering too. Our collaborative eGambling partnership continues to deliver a comprehensive ‘best of breed’ service to this sector.
More people have flown Aurigny than ever before. Our campaigns have reinforced the airline as the number one carrier between Guernsey and the UK. Further routes will launch in 2016. Aurigny also won silver in the European Regional Airline Awards - excellent recognition from the industry.
A massive 600 schoolchildren entered the Jersey Electricity SMART KIDS, SMART ENERGY design competition. Sparkling work and confirmation that electricity is the energy of the future. The winners’ presentation signaled the debut appearance of the agency-designed Mr Smart ‘mascot’. We’ve created a new logo and branding for JE’s Building Services operation too.
This year we also launched the Guernsey Dairy – KIOSK OF THE YEAR competition. We also event-managed the Fathers’ Day Half Marathon known as the Milk Run. If that wasn’t enough… we again designed and produced Insurance Corporation’s Conservation Awards and their Healthcare Bursary.
They go from strength to strength as one of the world’s most reputable eGambling jurisdictions and we did our bit adding a touch of Vegas to Alderney Gambling’s exhibition stand, publishing their magazine and designing their adverts.
We welcomed Norman Piette to the LRD fold and launched our social media activity for them with ‘Beyond Your Wildest Dreams’, a children’s bedroom design competition that captured the imagination of the good people of Guernsey.
What does all this activity amount to?
Thirsty work that's what!
So thank heavens the White Rock Brewery invited us to refresh the look of one of Guernsey’s oldest pubs, the Golden Lion. We thought it vital to sample the beer too! What an adventure into the history books that was.
Tough job but someone had to do it!
So, we’re turning off the agency lights for the Christmas period but will be throwing the switch again on Monday 4 January.
Enjoy the break and see you next year.
