Several years at leading agencies in London were an effective foundation for Tom’s career. A spell that saw him pitched in the account teams for Sainsbury’s Superstores, Peugeot Motor Company, Continental Airlines, Flybe, The Association of Investment Trusts, Flemings Bank and Staples Office Superstores.
In 2002 Tom relocated to Guernsey as Account Director on the Le Riche Stores business responsible for the Le Riche, Checkers Superstores, Checkers Xpress and Wine Warehouse brands. Moving to board level in 2006 and then Managing Director. In 2008 Tom founded LR&D with Ian and Jim.
Tom is a member of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising and the Institute of Directors.
An understanding of where art and commerce meet is largely behind the directorships that Ian has held since his mid-twenties. His working career has mainly been within the Channel Islands but he has experience in the United States and London.
Though not motivated by accolades, he has been involved in many award-winning campaigns, such as Island Games in 2003 and the Heart Attack Campaign in 2007. He has also worked on some of the islands’ biggest retail brands, Le Riche, Checkers, Wine Warehouse, Aladdins Cave, Aurigny, Guernsey Electricity, Cable & Wireless to name just a few.
Joyce has worked within the advertising and communications business for over 30 years starting her career at Davidson Pearce before moving to Young and Rubicam and then HK McCann.
After a period of running her own events company, she worked on the Sydney Olympics in 2000 before returning to the UK to join SOUK Communications as Client Service Director. In 2008 she left the UK for a period of 3 years to run Bermuda’s leading advertising agency.
